The Schwob School of Music of Columbus
State University, one of the leading and fastest-growing music schools
in the Southeast, is housed in the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts in downtown
Columbus, GA. The RiverCenter includes three concert halls and an
instructional facility among the finest in the country. Over 7200
students attend CSU classes on a 132-acre suburban campus convenient to
Columbus’ many attractions, located just ninety minutes southwest of
Atlanta.
The artist faculty of the Schwob School of Music serves an
internationally diverse student body, and
the school’s performing
organizations provide a variety of performance opportunities. The Schwob
School of Music is accredited by the National Association of Schools of
Music, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, and
the Georgia
Department of Education. The Commission on Colleges of the
Southern Association of Colleges and Schools accredits Columbus State
