2/6/08 Congrats to Dr. Palmer's high school students who made all-state! Ty Deane (GA) and Steven Gowan (AL) made all-state and Chris Johns was the GA 11-12 alternate.

1/26/08 The Chris Martin / Mark Hughes residency was a huge success. The CSU Wind Ensemble did a fantastic recording with Chris and Mark, followed by an amazing concert here in Columbus and again in Savanna at the GMEA conference.

12/3/07 The Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University is proud to announce a masterclass by Rick Stout of the Cleveland Orchestra. The masterclass will be held at 7:30 PM on Sunday, March 30th in Studio Theater, following the orchestra's 4:00 performance at the RiverCenter's Bill Heard Theater. Mr. Stout's masterclass is free and open to the public.
